@Merilirem : the problem come from how the plot is bad :
- Everyone believe the human killed the dog, without any proof. The dog was a general. If the humans did it, someone HAD to be hurt. It's impossible to fight a demon of this caliber and remain untouched. (and build in a trap in a few hours without being seen in a foreign area for someone who is wary of you is night impossible)
- One very likely possibility would be that the culprit is someone else and that he left after the fight. Yet nobody even think about this possibility. Everybody think it's far more easy to go out the demon's lord castle without being seen by anyone, kill a demon general without being hurt and go back into the castle...
-The trial by combat is dumb. If they really worship power and if they think the hero could kill a demon general without being hurt, it means they accept that the hero is more powerful and they should let him go...
And even without that, the base logic is dumb : "We think you beat a demon general. To prove you didn't beat him, you have to beat this demon general"....
