We’re in the tournament arc, so it’s pretty much just battle after battle now. Any background plot that could happen would between rounds, but given how relatively fast-paced the battles have been, the only exposition we’ll get will be on the character backgrounds and their fighting styles.

Anyway, betting that the brother mogs the Chinese guy, since the latter is pretty much just a discount version of Tsuyoshi. Not much of a reason to introduce the brother as having been trained to fight Tsuyoshi if a lesser version is enough to pressure him. Not unless the point is to undercut how seriously we should take the Russian side in the plot.

He's one of those dudes that brings absolutely nothing to a relationship but wholeheartedly believes a supermodel would want to date him. I love how utterly pathetic he is, it's a great contrast to more gassed up protagonists with this kind of gag like Saitama.

I think the most frustrating part about this is, there’s no sign of him learning from these massive fuck ups and his inability to be a proper judge of character. I understand that’s probably the point since his life has sucked so much outside of being an uncomfortably, gifted martial artist that he’s desperate for any kind of attention at this point.

But at the same time he can’t just keep getting himself sucked into these fake ass “””relationships”” and then crying about it later. At some point I really hope karate bro calls his dumbass out on his crap and he actually addresses the real reason why he can’t get a real girlfriend just by waiting for them to come to him
