Maybe my standards aren't that high, but I'm not finding it horrible, neither the first chapters, nor the recent ones.

I don't know which way it will go but I'm actually liking it quite a bit.

Volume 10 is where it gets batshit crazy lol

I dont know where the author is going with it but Volume 10 the MC is kidnapped in a russian Fleet and goes absolute monsters crippling everyone there
going back to japan, only to be captured though legal police because he once let out monstrous blood lust and some old politicians wet their pants and want him tamed
From the looks of it I can only think of MC being more and more monstrous
Background about MC is that he can see flows of force in every thing, so he can dodge, find weakness and do some crazy thing
and he actually causes his father's boxing gym to close at 5 years old because he absolutely destroyed everyone

This is One Taichi Man in a realistic, martial arts setting.

I dropped it after the whole chinese fighter fiasco, since him kinda just picking up the panda girl after didn't sit well with me as far as I could recall. Is it worth returning to?

After reading this until around chapter 110 I can say that it is worth reading/returning to. There are quite a lot of people saying this is a OPM ripoff, and while I can understand their point, I can also say it is different enough. Tsuyoshi isn’t overpowered in the same sense as Saitama, Tsuyoshi is just insanely cracked at martial arts which means that he is still a human so there are ways to hurt him or capture him. It is also pretty entertaining to watch the other characters fight each other. So overall it’s a pretty dumb fun type of manga that you will most likely enjoy if you like action/fighting manga.

Writing here to hype. It def starts as a p basic "unbeatable but plain mc" but as the conflict surrounding him ramps up we get to see the many sides of Tsuyoshi and by the time things got really insane I was rooting for him every step of the way. The clean snappy art and expressions helps sell the martial arts. Im chomping at the bit for more.

Nice to see another Cycomi manga getting translation proper alongside with Seton Academy and Kemono Giga. I know there are some good Cycomi manga anyone might probably get into it.

Also, the story looks kinda mixed One-Puch Man, but still looks amazing!

I hope to see this Tsuyoshi to get an anime adoption that could the next Cycomi manga to get anime adoption after Seton Academy!

That actually convinced me to not read this manga. Seton academy was such a writing shitshow that went absolutely no where, yet dragged on forever. Even if the charactera were likeable, and there were funny moments, that guy has Dall-Young Lim (Freezing) levels of infamy in my head now.

EDIT: apparently I misunderstood what you meant, I thought this was written by the same guy as Seton. Doesn't seem that way.

Great manga it's very refreshing to see what happens when the collected and pacifist strong man character cracks and goes psycho. I like how the story plays with how much of a threat tsuyoshi is and how his mental state affects everyone around him. If you saw the strongest guy you've ever seen start tweaking you'd start tweaking too

This is just a bunch of immature kids punching each other, preaching hyper-individualism vs communion-ism, and a load of poorly disguised fetishes and lack of skill in writing characters and story progression. Decent art though, for how meaningless that is in manga

Having read 200+ chapters, gotta say, while the manga has its moments, it's really obvious that the author doesn't care for your time.

Entire chapters can be wasted on fights that don't even need to happen, soap opera plot mechanics occur simply because it pads out the plot (like: I'm your brother, and it's needlessly complicated!)

And the most generic of all: flashbacks. So many flashbacks.

I'd advise reading this story only in volumes. Chap-by-chap is too slow.

bad start, then kept going good, then keep worse every chapters. So many SA on men and one of the strongest character is bowing down to old powerful men and MC is even friends with them. So yikes. Mc is also trash. Some characters also start out bad then good then author ruined them. Then introduced more characters.

I used to like this manga but the BS just keeps piling up on every arc that I wished this manga got axed instead.

Start out a bit funny but then becomes overly serious. The author is going for OPM but realistic. However, it is absurd with the mc being the most absurd of them all. None of the characters are likeable. Too many flashbacks to lore dump. Pacing is horrible. Very poor writing. The MC just wanted to live a normal life and his solution is to beat anyone in his path. Also too much hidden fetishes and everybody act like kids. Like imagine capturing "one of the most dangerous man in the world" and Russia send a squad of childish BDSM enthusiast. Fights are pointless anyway because MC has got super magic power that is disguised as Tai Chi.

The only positive thing about this manga is how quickly the translator pumps out chapters so you can click through all the bullshit that the writer loves to shoehorn in.
