An interesting take on DID.
Looking forward to see where this goes.

Author seems to have made a formula of adding mild—not body horror exactly, but dramatized, tragic, and slightly unsettling medical issues—to yuri stories all set in a shared universe (the doctor from this appears to be the same one from https://mangadex.org/title/20378/heart-gifts, and the main characters of that show up briefly in https://mangadex.org/title/21397/futatsu-no-rasen).

I'm usually not too picky about this kind of stuff, but for whatever reason I find suspension of disbelief regarding the biological/medical elements of the stories, this one in particular, to be difficult, perhaps because they seem like excuses to pump the drama levels far higher than feels appropriate or necessary. https://mangadex.org/title/20017/toki-doki is a good example of a story that works the illness angle with more reserve and to greater effect, I think. The art is nice though, and overall they're decent reads.

Like most what people have been saying so far for this, it has an interesting premise and concept but after reading through both chapter 1 and 2 I feels really badly paced from the amount dramatization that is put into each chapter that it feels excessive; also, from what another comment has revealed, there is apparently some background context missing from this in the form of the other mangas with two main characters. I haven't taken the time to read the other mangas these 2 main characters are part of, but for anyone looking at this for a new series to read it might be better to read the others first it might makes this better somewhat, but this definitely feels like something that was meant to read after another work.

The fuck was that ending? It's screaming "Just shove it in! I dunno!" to me that it kicked me out of the investment I had following her arduous internship.

I rather concerned what happened to the two girls of Heart Gifts now that their doctor isn't a doctor anymore...

@KinGrove: Sorry, I didn't mean to suggest that reading the other stories would cast any more light on this one. They're all effectively independent, and inasmuch as the characters show up in the other stories they're only in minor roles, so there really is no more context to be had.

But yeah, I was trying to give this one the benefit of the doubt initially but my opinion has soured after reading parts 2 and 3. It's absurd and overwrought and all over the place and just all kinds of hot garbage.

The starting idea was quite interresting but it's for naught if the author does such a botched job.
It's filled to the brim with templates, the narrative rythm and the story goes all over the place, jumping from one thing to another with an obnoxious villain that appear from nowhere and end lazyly in a lackluster slap-dash resolution...

Heart Gifts was good, but Two Spirals got really freaking weird. I wasn't a fan of the second story at all.

Strong first half with good tension and world building. Bonkers second half that makes me wonder what exactly it was I saw in the first...

The first story is fantastic. The second one is still great, though it is very weird. I feel both stories are too fast and would have been better as 4-5 chapter works each. If they had been written like that, this would be a 10/10 work. As it is now, I gave it a 9.

Heart Gifts is the best. I like when they add a character with an “incurable” illness and someone shows up and changes their whole world and even when the odds are against them they stand strong together or the other party doesn’t let go of their hand ever, that’s true friendship/love. Yes, everything is just on point, specially the expressions. I just wish they had added a kiss scene after all that but still a top quality yuri.

Two Spirals, maybe I’m the only one who enjoyed it. it’s rare to find yuri where they explain the science behind babies between two women, specially one under those conditions and their screw up dad put them through.
I’m glad both girls found happiness as a family and are looking forward to a better future with their daughter by their side.
However... Does “Two Spirals” count as incest??

Restart from Zero, hmm.. It was going well but the last chapter didn’t work out for me. I feel bad for both protagonists even though they get a happy ending but it’s like.. Sensei was/is such a wonderful woman, you guys saw how she took care of Kuro and Shiro from the very beginning so it’s sad to see such character go down like that, She deserved better but at least she isn’t feeling guilty anymore about Rei and company.
