This tells me that you're too young to remember how many people didn't like the author prolonging Takagi's manga as well as Nishikata barely acting different than his younger self as an adult. But that manga is so old (2013) that everybody who didn't like it already complained and moved on years ago.

Honestly the charm of this manga that hooked me in the first couple chapters is completely gone, I’ve been following this manga for so long and this chapter felt so forced in terms of prolonging this “love” story, I’ll give it a month and if nothing changes I’m dropping this bs for good

in one hand, it makes sense since the mangaka is making the sequel alongside the story, so we know they are already married, on the other it's such a cheap way to negate progress it's not even funny, dropped since the story is already written beyond this point

One other thing I'd like to add.... How cold can she freaking be? First she shoots him down before he even gets what he wanted to say out. Then casually asks to walk to the station together like nothing even happened.

This feels so forced... Like the last 70 chapters and the last 3 years of flirting never happened.
