I read many manga titles with that kind of settings.

Mostly an edgy issekai where the MC becomes Avenger-class Hero who tried to destroy the kingdom they helped before.

But, this manga is the second title I read which is not the edgy one.

So, why reveal all that in the first chapter? Hook us with her cuteness and their relationship, hint at the reveal of the past of the knight and that the hero is "missing" THEN make the reveal.
