I swear if he let's them go after they've 1) kidnapped an entire village 2)made them work slave labor in their own damn mine 3)tried to killed a child and 4) witnessed her demon lord powers.
I dunno that I can keep looking at this train even if the kiddo is cute. There's being morally conflicted about having to fight with humans just defending their land and then there is being morally conflicted about killing a thing that a normal society would either imprison for life or execute.

These 2 idiots didn't subjugate an entire village on their own. They were ordered to come here. They're soldiers of THE ROYAL ARMY, acting upon the orders of the very same royalty that sent the Hero to kill the Demon Lord.

Especially since he isn't a Jap that was summoned to this world. He was born and raised here. He's been living amongst the demons, even after ruthlessly slaughtering them to get to the Demon Lord; but he somehow still has qualms about even harming humans? Talk about a moron...

That's what a life of indoctrination will do to you. He'll kill demons without batting an eye, but starts pissing his pants at the idea of fighting humans. I don't understand why we're still following the trope of the "hero" being raised to be the hero. Heroes are supposed to be normal people who rise to the occasion in times of crises. Being ordained at birth to be "the hero" is antithetical to the very idea of heroism.
