"cover up the fact that you're an otaku" I mean, editor-san is at comiket too unless there's a handful of 'normies' going casually (tho i feel like comiket tickets would be pricey unless they're surprisingly dirt cheap) if not ppl recruiting for adjacent stuff like making vid games and hiring artists lol (i guess he does look like a 'normal' middle aged guy lol)

i get being irl might make it harder (tho idk how many mangaka's faces are known) but i can imagine other than it affecting their work that some authors would buy doujins of their own stuff lol

i wonder if doujin-girl will make her own original content some day lol. idk how common half a year breaks is but i'd expect them to want him to do more than a oneshot unless it's quite a lot of pages to where ppl could buy physical copies/more money, half expect them to maybe demand a serialization lol
