One of the most dangerous things when you're a teenager figuring your identity out is making the mistake of not realizing your body isn't just some vessel that can be changed or modified to reflect your mind's image, it is one with your consciousness, and it is your self. In a society that has alienated our bodies, issues such as eating disorders, body dysmorphia and plastic surgery addictions are caused by this rejection of our bodies as an inherent part of what makes us ourselves.
