Both of them are morons and it is funny. However, I don't understand what to hate about this girl? The way she acted is normal since there is a guy who broke the wall. Instead of fixing it, he turned it into a door. He obviously has perverted ulterior motive. Something like a lock or a wardrobe is easy to break. Like hell those things can stop anyone. He was bother by the noise she made then he could just take the normal way and talk to her or the landlord instead of breaking the wall. About the room, it is her room, she can do whatever she want. It is normal for the room of people who just started to live alone to look like that since they haven't known how to balance housework, work and school yet. With the specific schedule for trash pick up in Japan, it is easy to miss if you are not used to it and then you have to wait one week to take out the trash.
