if it was lost and someone picked it up then theyd respond asking who the phone belongs to, if it was stolen there would be no response at all because it might be possible to get an idea where they were when it was sent (as unlikely as it is) the only person who would pretend to be her and respond is someone who has her phone, and wants people to think that shes still in control of her phone and not in danger, so someone who has attacked her and now has her phone and wants to create an alibi to cover up the illegal activity they did to herMight be a good idea to check the message history first before u try to impersonate someone lol
Also, thinking they got killed is kinda a huge leap wouldnt it make more sense to assume their phone got stolen/lost
It's fine. The last guy she used it on lived. Sorta. He made it more complicated than it needed to be. Just use the Men In Black memory wiper and move on.
first thing that came to mind was what if she had GPS and it's tracked somewhere else? he's 120% fuckedIs he retarded?
Phone should have been turned off. Or just not answered at all.
I also use Line. You can reply to messages from the pop-up notification, no need to unlock the phone.if it was lost and someone picked it up then theyd respond asking who the phone belongs to, if it was stolen there would be no response at all because it might be possible to get an idea where they were when it was sent (as unlikely as it is) the only person who would pretend to be her and respond is someone who has her phone, and wants people to think that shes still in control of her phone and not in danger, so someone who has attacked her and now has her phone and wants to create an alibi to cover up the illegal activity they did to her
and they cant check the message history, the phone was locked but for some reason they could still send
This wasn't a premeditated murder by adult proffessionals, this was a "shit went south fast" moment by a teenager and an alien with zero common sense. Of course there was going to be stuff that they would overlook up until it was too late. Why the feck would you leave the phone on.
Message had already been received and they had no idea how the girl used to answer (phone was locked and could only answer most recent message), so if they had left the message of her supposed boyfriend on "unread" then it would have caused people to feel suspicious about it (this is all assuming that she was a normal person, which NOW we know she was not). Why the feck would you reply.
Zero knowledge on the possible side-effects on the darn thing, not to mention that if they become overly dependant on it just for it to break down at a later time (which it will most certainly do later on, this IS manga world after all), it will most likely cause more troubles than it's worth. It's much better to leave it as a last-resort.Why the feck wouldnt you memory erase.
Not very likely she tattled on him to his friend (she pretty much said that when she mentioned it), not to mention that they can also follow with a "oh yeah, I sheltered her for a while but she left immediatly, no idea where though". It's better to go with a "closed lips" approach until it becomes neccessary for him to say it, otherwise he would be attracting unwanted attention to himself unneccessarily. Why the feck would you also not realise vice president knows she went to your place so your alibi wont check out.
Haha, i can see both getting splattered or memory erasedcould you imagine if they were just outright honest?
It's like "She's an alien and she accidentally splattered her. But she can fix them good as new and everything"
"Bullshit"
She goes alien mode
"So... that happened. So... what about the others?"
"Gossip"
"So she's not dead?"
"Nope"
"And she will be back in a few weeks?"
"Yup"
"Well nobody is gonna miss her anyways so let's just make sure it's downplayed and not that big a deal.
MAH MAN!
exactly what I was thinkingMight be a good idea to check the message history first before u try to impersonate someone lol
Also, thinking they got killed is kinda a huge leap wouldnt it make more sense to assume their phone got stolen/lost
But first they need to have a reason to think that she is missing, they aren't going to search for her yet.Every phone is trackable by mobile service provider. It can be triangulated in a cell by analyzing logs from base stations. Obviously one can't pinpoint precise location but average area between stations. He had to deal with her phone right after her disintegration.
