This is probably the worst case scenario playing out. Even if they were able to bring Teru back to life and remove his memories of committing suicide his mum has still abandoned him. He's not going to trust the class rep MC anytime soon. All he'd have left would be Karagaki once she comes back, and let's be real she isn't a particularly good person to be Teru's last pillar of support.

And most importantly she wouldn't even be aware of Teru being the only one who actually cared that she went missing. She liked Teru a bit more than the other boyfriends from what I gathered even if she still treated him like, knowing that he was the only one in the world who actually cared about her would probably have caused quite the character arc. Instead she will most likely show up like nothing is happened, like she hasn't been gone for slightly more than a week, causing him to have the most logical explanation that she was fine, she was just out on a trip and getting railed by the newest boyfriend. She would hit him harder than she ever had any intention to do.
