WHAT!?

Is Haru and Pres. (Noah) these two?
Their descendants?
Somehow this is Noah and Haru left him behind as a kid after the earth and everything got destroyed and rebuilt and him confessing to the girl unlocked some of his memories with Haru?
What was that Shuru at the end meant to be?

What is this ending who are they?

So it just repeats itself in an endless loop? They just mediate the current population until it blows itself up, then they move in and just take over as if nothing ever happened? I mean... I kind of get a bit about what the author is going for but this seems needlessly nihilistic. At least throw a twist in there that humanity managed to rise above their manipulations or something rather than the alien's plan working flawlessly as she manipulated an idiotic class president into being a meat puppet for her.

Its kinda dark, philosophical, nihilistic and even the slightest bit wholesome in a way.
It just the idea of the endless cycle of destruction and rebirth.
Where they have no control over what is going on; other than their souls bing intertwined.
This is shown by the two characters at the end kind of mimicking the actions seen at the start of the manga.
However in a very distorted way, more over this can also be seen with that Male character saying that random girls name.
He is at that moment having flash back from his past lives and is remembering the name (Shuru) which is presumably one of the Haru's past incarnations.

Thanks everyone at Speedstar Scanlation for working so hard on translating this series.

So the cycle starts over with aliens of different types now? Was that guy supposed to be the son now grown and this girl is just Haru in a disguise or was this last chapter just a random thought and it really ended in 22?

Most of this authors works has hints of nihilistic and existential horror, however in this series it has defiantly been more pronounced than in his other works. Although the art and story in this one has a far greater scope than their previous works
