honestly the problem with this manga seems to come down to mangaka fatigue. At one point it started dragging around with a couple of pointless fights against minor characters and you could tell the last 10 chapters were of a much lower quality as the author just wanted it to end. There were enough questions left unanswered and things that were introduced and then forgotten to make it 100+ chapters longer if they wanted to, we didn't get a proper epilogue for a lot of characters and wischtech was a huge plotpoint left unexplored for the most part.

Basically it's good, up until a certain point i'll even say it was amazing but it lost steam. I'd give it a 8/10 with the warning that the end is unsatisfying if not disappointing.

I started reading this nearly 7 years ago, and then stopped because the last 20 chapters I couldn't find anywhere until now(on another site). While yes, it's a lot less engaging reading the ending nearly a decade later, I think for a new reader it's worthwhile to binge read.

It's a unique experience, plenty of sex, gore, and action supplemented by a competent roster of characters.

I don't recommend. I've already finished the work and the only feeling i had when i finished it was "Fuck! What a waste of time!"; the manga starts off interesting as does the lore, the protagonist is not annoying and the supporting characters and villains are "ok", but from the middle to the end everything becomes very boring and dragging, and continuing reading until the end is not rewarding, because the ending is open-ended and completely anti-climactic (they announced a sequel now, ten years later lol). There are better things out there~💨
