Talk about a mature chapter. This is one of the reasons I like about Kanako and why she's my favorite character in this series. She does play a strong role in helping Ueno and Chisaki think critically about themselves and the relationship between each other. That is not simple bullying that is going, but a more complex relationship brewing underneath.

Now, Chisaki claims repeatedly throughout the story she doesn't like Ueno, but in this chapter, she doesn't deny that she's dependent on Ueno. After all, he still is the only person to make her feel aroused. If Chisaki can break her dependence on him, it will be a lot easier for her to leave Ueno in peace and for him to break his programming.

I'm still wondering the author's plans involving Kanako and Ueno in the upcoming chapters. Kanako should feel content that Ueno is dating Moka and avoiding Chisaki the best he can, but it's not a victory if Chisaki is unable to let Ueno go and date Kanako instead.

One question: does Chisaki like Kanako? Yes or no? because in the sex they had with Chisaki, there was no pleasure.
My sense is that Chisaki cares about her and Tsubomi a lot but they are not romantic feelings at all. Chisaki had sex with her in spite of that to try and make her friend happy. Chisaki is known to sleep around a lot, so maybe that wasn’t much of a big deal for her, but it does underline how bad Chisaki is at maintaining boundaries.

Kanako needs to move on. Chisaki doesn't truly love her; he only sees her as a friend, and she begs him to love her, but Chisaki doesn't have those feelings for her.

I don't know, I feel if this entire manga should be about how the 3 bullies start to develope romantic feelings towards Ueno it would be so much better.
Manaka is really a pointless character, a very weak filler character, but on the other hand takes so much space away from actual happenings.
Also it's very clear Chisaki is the main girl and her and Ueno has a thing for each other, yet their relationship and character pairings got zero built up, they had nonexistent chemistry and we are basically at the end of the manga. Instead Tsubimo got built up pretty well with Ueno, but she is clearly a side character but even she got vaporated because the thing Manaka exist...

I feel this manga gonna end very soon and there is no good end here. Whatever happens, Chisaki x Ueno never gonna feel good, because the author doesn't built them up, Tsubomi x Ueno is cute and all, but it always going to feel lacking becase she never treated more than a side character, if Manaka x Ueno stays, that is a straigh up cucking the reader moment...

So I'm sure it will be dissapointing, no matter what the ending will be.

Once Kanako accepts that Ueno is the best person for Chisaki, it will be eaiser for Kanako to give up.

A really well written character development in a erotic manga, sasuga author
It IS a Seinen drama and is definitely dealing with fairly deep issues.

I'm not sure why it has the "Comedy" tag here on MD. On MAL it is "Drama, Erotica", though Psychological would fit.

Chisaki can be kinda nasty, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to kiss her boobs and curves. It's too bad she smokes though.

Thank you for the translation.

While the series is trying to build up sympathy for Chisaki, at the end of the day she was still a major source of trauma for Ueno and a bully.

If she wants to redeem herself, at least start by being nice to him and be a friend and make up for all the shit he had to go through in the past.

Had this been the other way around: where a guy sexually assaulted a girl, no one would have an ounce of feelings for the guy.
Yeah, it's honestly a bit disturbing how little disdain people have for her. Like, what the hell is mature about her in this chapter? She still badmouths him, saying that the girl is "too good for him," and talks about how she "cared about people around her being happy." It just comes across like a sick joke. This woman raped him repeatedly, since high school. She caused him to have a sexual dysfunction. She should be on her hands and knees begging for forgiveness or at the very least way more remorseful for me to treat her as a redeemable character. Tsubomi was redeemable because she had the bare minimum level of consciousness to recognize what she did to him. This chick is genuinely irredeemable and should not be treated like a regular character, let alone a "romance option" lmao.

Tbf, since this manga is not a porn manga and took a slightly more realistic route, I'm glad that the literal rapists arent seen as romance options. If anything, I think the manga is way too lenient with them. They deserve more severe consequences than moping around because they can no longer sexually abuse a guy for their own pleasure.
