Stop making everything about politics. You're just annoying. And stop launching passive aggressive insults pretending you're miss innocent.
You are one who detailed this.
Everyone was talking about the manga.

Then you showed up and insulted someone at what seems to be completely random.

What you said was completely unrelated to anything.

Interesting, it’s been a while since I’ve re-read the previous chapters so I could be wrong, but I read it more as Eito always had feelings for him but hid them because they’re both guys.
Eito yes but not protag, protag was clearly shown in love with Noel.

Noel seem to not care about Kei's gender.

Spin your own narrative all you want if it makes you feel better.

Noel just hasnt really been an interesting character honestly(to me), and the series doesnt do as well a job with showing something deeper with her and Kei, and now with that glare and ripping the two apart, almost makes me wonder if she really was the reason for the animosity between her and Eito.
Also I know Noel didnt know what Kei just went through, and probably wouldn't have done it if she knew, but ripping two people apart holding hands is...not a great thing. Her glare was scary.
Did you forget about Eito's glare in ch 1?

Guess I did, thats fair.

Still ripping two people apart isnt a great move all the same.
You're being too harsh and unfair towards Noel.
It's obvious that ch 1 wasn't the first time Eito glared at her. He was being really scary to the point that Noel ended up putting some distance between her and Kei. And he ignored Kei's feeling towards Noel.
He pretty much has been ripping Kei and Noel apart back from when Kei was a boy.
And yet, he still tries to get in their way now that Kei is a girl.

I understand if people don't want to support Noel because she barely gets a scene. But it's unfair to paint her as a villain.

Damn, I don't think I like any of the non-Uesugi characters...
Edit: I figured out why I don't even like Eito in this. The only reason him pulling Uesugi away at the end is considered "cute" is the blushing. It's fundamentally the same bullshit Noelle has going on in this chapter.

Noelle: I want to monopolize Uesugi. (seen as yandere)
Eito: I want to monopolize Uesugi. (seen as protective and cute)

Noelle: Let's go watch fireworks.
Eito: He's tired. He's going to rest.

How fucking tiring can watching fireworks be? Just suggest that you go watch fireworks with Noelle as a group or something.

I really don't know if I hate the characters or the author. They're clearly trying to set the Eito ship to sail, but they're doing a fucking awful job of making this ship palatable.
Agree. I hate the hypocrisy in the delivery of their characterization and actions.

I hate this stupid trope so much, oh yeah sexual assault just so the male lead save you and WE FORGET what happen, a sexual assault is not at all a serious and heavy thing that can be pretty traumatic and EVEN better the statistics clearly show NO ONE in your audience would have that happened to them and so you can threat the subject as lightly as you want :aquadrink:
like if you want to have that in your story you either threat it seriously cause if you do not I am sorry but I can't take your writing seriously either if a big character/relationship defining moment is handled in like 3 pages
