yes i agree, it's weird but let see what the story can offer to us.
also there's another manga almost similar on this, same school theme, get a partner, live together and see your compatibility on each other (they can swap also their partner on each term if i remember correctly) and since its part of school curriculum. they're being graded and such...
errr can't remember the title though, its been long since i 've seen it updated i guess....
