Well shit, it's been a while since I've read a series that I felt a genuine urge to drop within 10 chapters.
For those who are planning to read this because of the 7/10 rating, this series really does not deserve the score it has, at least for the first ten chapters or so. Be prepared to feel very confused or frustrated or whatever other negative emotion you can think of.
The MC claims to care about his mother or whatever, then casually ditches her for some college for... no real concrete, believable reason. Openly trusts what can only be described as a stranger minutes after meeting him? Really now? I mean, I get kids can be naive and all, but given his circumstances, you'd expect the kid to be warier of people and be more rational, right?
Also, the college tournament shit. Clearly stated that killing is prohibited, but hey, would you look at that! Some psycho gets to kill without repercussions. Then the administrators (well, close enough) sees the murderer guy fight MC, and their reaction is: "oH LeT's jUst wAtcH wHAt hAppEns." Dude, a fucking kid is about to die - do your fucking job properly, you dipshit. Also, one of the guys say that he can't manifest a War Spirit - proceeds to do so next chapter. Looks like the author forgets the shit he writes by the time the next chapter rolls out or something, God damn.
Of course, there is the typical asspull Deus Ex Machina... and honestly? It fell flat, which is the absolute worst part of it all.
Translation at the start is iffy, but you can manage it I guess, so I wasn't too bothered with it. The art is... well, I've seen better lol.
Anyway, this is one of the few series I can only describe as "bad," bordering on "very bad." At least for the first ten chapters. 3.5/10 unless something spectacular happens in the upcoming chapters.
