The art is OK, but Mahou Sensei Negima is just so much better at the 'kid teacher undercover at academy' thing.
The secret is that action sequences are boring. Dramatic posing and cliché speeches are boring.

Do you know how many times I've seen mysterious hooded figures talk shit about a newly dead sub-boss and say things like "he was the least of us, I will do much better!"? It's a LOT.

It's the other stuff that makes a manga compelling. Jokes, references, world-building, characterization, clever tactics. MSN has a lot of that other stuff. This manga... doesn't.

"I want to live more freely this time!" Immediately gets locked down the a school by sum chick. No wonder this was axed. Had so much potential with decent art. Power creeps real fast and hard. Also in the first chapter he was talking about sum "other world" but during the fight with the boss they are talking about raoul islaf being dead for 15 years in the same world. Okay ig.
