The only redemption would be if it actually made good on MC's intention to "build up muscles again." That journey could actually be a nice read.

This has a very high chance of being amazing if the author actually goes through with the "gaining muscles" plotline and actually shows results. Especially if they make it a sort of commentary on the the social separation between "women" and "strength." (Eg. "he became weak when he became a girl because that's what he thought girls had to be like")

Otherwise it'll probably just be a normal generic genderbender, which is at least still a "good" in my book. So we'll see.
