How lovely and relatable. By nature, this is a very reflective series but the mood has frequently been fairly low and uncertain, which makes sense because their careers and paths aren't fully realized yet. But it seems like Umiko is getting out of that rut of relatively negative thinking and looking forward to what she can do. Good for her.
This time, it looks like she's going to trade places emotionally with Kai. He's not very facially expressive, but it seems like he's starting to worry about the future more with his final year in university looming over him. I hope he finds his way through. He's pretty steadfast when he does make significant decisions. I'm rooting for him.
Thank you so much for all the work you've put into translating, cleaning, typesetting, and redrawing this chapter. I appreciate being able to read this story, so I'm always grateful to you. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with some temperate weather
