I kind of wanted to see how all the girls would of reacted if Nagi and Rinne told them they remember memories of their past lives together.

I wanted for Rinne to became an earth maiden and join their circle in a few years. I liked her character the most. It left me dissatisfied that we could no see it with such an open ending.

There are also some horrible implications about the past. My theory is for the past 100 years, that's at least 4 generations of Shrine Maidens this island is ruining their lives. First of them end up sacrificing (committing suicide for no reason). Second, suck it up and close herself up for the good of island, disregarding anything else. The last one leaves it all behind to escape and regret it all their life. We can see it in last generation. Mother of Shizuku is a case 2, mother of Nagi is the 3. case. The first case didn't leave any descendant obviously. Such a terrible tradition.

Even the dragon god itself said that this shit is repeating itself over and over.

Kind of correct as an ending. It annoys that it left so many things unanswered and others just floating around, but harem was the only option and feel satisfied with the conclusion.

I only finished reading this mangá today. I commented on another mangá that my favorite harem mangá is Love Hina. Then someone suggested this mangá to me as being better... I have to strongly disagree lol. I was a bit unsure whether we can compare Love Hina with this mangá, since Love Hina is much more focused on comedy and this one is obviously much more focused on drama. But since my friend suggested this mangá saying that it is better than Love Hina, I have to say that Love Hina entertained me MUUUUCH more than this mangá. And I hated the religious cult drama at the end of the mangá. Finally, I liked the ending of Love Hina much more, since it wrapped things up nicely with the marriage of the MC and the heroine, even though I am not against a harem ending.
