Thanks so much for translating this manga - it's one of my favorites rn and I'm so happy when I see a new chapter. I know we have some heavy scene, but both protagonist are really cool and the main girl is so funny.

I hope their relationship stays platonic. As much as I love a good romance, I think she needs a supporter in her life more than a lover. They're suited to be awesome friends imho.

it's already established that he views her as a child and is trying to take a protective role over her like is his instinct as a doctor
plus she's nowhere near mentally stable enough rn to recognise a healthy relationship with anybody, especially an older dude

@toolongdidntread It would certainly be surprising if he was just going to give her a lecture and try to help her to any degree. If this was manga, I reckon he would try to sexually abuse her, but since this manhua, I'm not sure it would fly.
