Unclickable area at the sides of desktop reader

Since earlier today I'm getting small margins at the sides of the reader where the cursor changes from the select hand back to the neutral cursor and clicks aren't registered for turning the page (in single or double page mode) or expanding the side bar. I'm using firefox on desktop but given the timing I assume it's related to the mobile changes somehow.
