I don't think anyone would have imagined that here we are 3 years after this pilot's upload (and release of the first chapter of the manga) and the series is still ongoing (with an anime adaptation releasing this week), with so much improvements here and there.

From my memories of the first serialized chapter, and everything that has happened after the fact, I can see elements that Tozuka kept from this pilot, even though I can see them with a new lense (maybe I'm reading a lot on the "memories" panel, but surely something there is inspiration from some of the other negators' past

like, for example, Rip's regret in the 100th loop. Shame that in some way or form, given the nature of the ongoing series, Andy's "memories" part was later retconned... although I'm really curious how did Andy get those tattoos in the first place...?

It's always interesting to see how different the pilot is from the serialized first chapter, and it's even more considering the long way the series has gone through ever since.
