I laughed when I saw the author always made a hero (the main character) whose physique was similar to his own.
Hair is rather long, bearded, everything is almost the same. Just wear glasses in addition.

Even the main character of Ressentiment, from 2003, was simply a fatter and older-looking version of himself. It's a habit of him I guess. I just hope he doesn't give this one a half-assed ending like almost everything else he did.

I am a Hero had a “Half-Assed” (I actually enjoyed it, believe it or not) ending because his father died near the end of the series and the manga was causing him extra stress, so he didn’t want to end it badly, or worse than it did, for some people.
