Oh Als with an intelligent play to discover what her plan is. Some nice writing there although find it funny such an old witch can't notice when someone is inlove with them, good ol dense protag (Although to be somewhat fair maybe willingly dense due to trauma).

Also suprised she has all this surveilance ability and didn't know her objective at all.

It happens on occasion with those where the love interest is some kind of colourful character like a delinquent or gyaru. But those can often be cringe in other ways. Maybe just search for those terms or something?
