With this chapter, it's come to a close.
I really liked this series, and its unconventional reverse Isekai plot was intriguing.
It's a pity that this series was axed so quickly.
I would have loved to see more of this series.

In any case, If you have any corrections, or any suggestions, please mention them here in the comments, or in Discord (Discord is preferable, as I dont check the comments regularly).

So....his ending is to stay in his simulation until he feels like ending it all?
I think he's just a guy (sort of). Like, he's the only one who knows it's a simulation, but he can his life, or not. He's not immortal or anything. The simulation is a whole universe, I think, or maybe just a fully simulated Earth.

After the these years, finally the story is concluded.

Also, will he age, or remain in teenage forever? Or maybe, when he dies of simulated old age, the whole thing resets. An eternal loop. Who knows?

Thank you for your hard work!

So they put him back into the matrix... Poor guy.
At least erase his memory to let him enjoy his dream.

Its not a terrible fate all thing considered, sure he could have "escaped to the real world" and lived as a rouge ship.
But he basically get to live the same life as us, only knowing FOR SURE there is more life in the universe.

Jeez that is a harsh ending, a rather clean one for a axe. But a tough pill to swallow. He has to "live" knowing his world is fake, that nothing matters. And the entire reason, the world isn't ready for him to exist. That no matter what he does he will be rejected by the world for being a unbound AI.
They self imposed rules, limiting AI, but also want to bypass them at their own convenience, making even more ethically wrong things. So even though he proves himself trust worthy it doesn't matter, because of agendas, greed and closemindedness.
So all he can do is live in a dream.

Imagine having access to the powers of a supercomputer and world simulator and NOT using it to make minecraft 3, Sekiro 5, and death stranding:1000 vtubers

"If" he considers it fake. Do note; He is the same as that world and quite "real" in his mind. For him it might very well just be an home coming feeling wise because it probably is just as real to him as the "real" world.

I don't get the part about him becoming a lab rat. I thought the reason he jail-breaked, was because of an exception in the priorities that restricted the AI. There wasn't really anything special about his "AI" that'd be worth researching. if anything, the real topic of interest, was Cyborg Slaves; and all the political ramifications that has. not sure why they couldn't find a solution to transfer him somewhere same where he could live peacefully, in either world.

Even if you knew with absolute certainty that our own apparent world was a simulation, would anything really change for you? He's just going back to living the life he has always known.

it is a matter of perspective. for those who value honesty, the characters choices would come across as hypocritical and spineless...
these guys just dont care about reality as long as they can feed their personal desires. quite controversial, of course.

powerplay of influential people at work. the empress to be might abandon him over her own interest for rulership.
shes eliminating the risk of being stripped of her monarchial privileges instead of offering protection to someone who has only been an ally for a short time and facing the societal repercussions that would come with it.
and he puts more value in a dreamworld than in reality, like a drug addict for narcotics. he doesnt even make the first step to accept himself as an artificial human and wont ask for tolerance now that he actually exists.
the ending is sort of a life imprisonment in that way, combined with an execution.

i liked it but you can really tell it was given the axe REAL fast because the plot was so fast it was a bit out there for a second
still, it was good enough for me

wish there was more manga of this type, or atleast space battleship stuff, its oddly rare
