Good ending. I just wish I could've seen the main guy's wedding too, and it would've been sweet if she was also invited to it. Maybe he got married earlier, but I think showing the lucky woman that became his wife would've been nice too.

...or it could also be that he didn't get married to that coworker he asked out on a date; that would be sad but also realistic since this is based off of a real life story, and things don't work out all the time IRL.
He's wearing a ring guys, he's already married!

Mangaka didn't show the face of her lucky husband... which is himself. That was a missed opportunity to draw a literal self-insert, but I guess he didn't want readers to say he's full of himself or something.

I can tell that he that loves his wife so much, just look at how beautiful she is this chapter, and how cute she was through the series.

This is based on the manga artist's wife past. Taht college sweetheart is the manga artist. Yeah, she's married to the manga artist.

Yeah I could have sworn I'd heard this before, on the pre-timeskip chapters. I was wondering why everyone wanted to cuck the mangaka.

That they didn't get married to each other is fine, incest is pretty annoying after all. Mostly, however, I'm annoyed that the Author kinda handwaved the familial problems away so quickly, which kinda does send a bad message

My own thoughts on the matter of the mother is it being generally fine. When only one page is being made at a time, and having previously devoted time to how things improved and worked out with her father, I'm OK taking it at face value (or just inserting into my own mind) that a similar amount of work had to happen, and that it did.

She wanted happiness, but she also realized that mending with both of her parents was part of that.

I really like manga about abuse or just general trauma victims healing because of someone else's love and then cultivating their own happiness and then just for the spice getting married. That one manga about the apothecary healing the elf was really cute as well, if you liked this go over and read that too (The apothecary is gonna make this ragged elf girl happy) still waiting for a glory hole doujin where she gets freed and she falls in love with the guy
