I really loved Negima but UQ holder aint it man. The mc is annoying af, some plot point feel so forced the only good part about UQ holder is the cannonically ending to who Negi ended up with. This is just Akamatsu milking Negima and turn this into "I can't believe this is not a hentai".

A great start, but followed by a slow and progressive decay, until a very bad last arc. The 5 last tomes are absolute garbage with plot twists over plot twists. The harem side is complete bullshit, especially the very bad and gratuitous sex acts in the last arc (i'm generaly a good client for that, but it was infuriating and very badly handled). Also, the ties with Negima are quite badly handled. I am a fan of Negima, but this one was dissapointing. It's a sequel we didn't need.

I actually found a massive error in the ending.
Kirie and Tota made a formal contract, not a Pactio.
The formal contract basically makes them share inmortality, so Kirie shouldnt have been able to age or die while Tota has his own inmortality. (Same as Nonoka and Yue with Nagi)

just me rationalizing the epilogue of my favorite character
OK Kirie losing her immortality and be dead in the epilogue was so unneeded bruh wtf man its so fucking sad how shes the only one left out??? But its also nice how she died a mortal. The entire story is them literally calling their immortality a curse so even though theres literally SO MANY DAMNED WAYS for Kirie to have immortality/eternal youth again she PROBABLY denied it wanting to die a human which makes sense since she didnt hate the fact that she was mortal — she hated how she couldnt join touta and the others in their immortal journey which was offseted when touta said he'd be there loving her even when she's old.
note: the author 100% only did this so the chapter could be published with Touta and Kirie doing snu snu without getting flagged as underaged LOL
