You must be new here. Gray jobs are gray jobs. They’re simply very high paying jobs that no ordinary part time employee would want to take for some reason. One should never ask “why?”

Our intrepid heroes probably think that it’s because it’s very last minute and an all nighter, and that the kids are troublesome so no legitimate tutors would touch the job otherwise. Hence “easy”.
