Interesting. I thought this going to be about crime & mystery with drama & suspense. Turns out this is a horror manga. Despite that, it still pretty good for a chapter 1. I'm going to continue reading this manga until I got bored or something.

Oh I love the twist of 'he's always been single'. That with the final panel.... I wonder if there was ever any human wife to begin with. One feels the crypt keeper like compulsion to say something like "I suppose you do get tree-huggers but this is a bit extreme."

GOD what a good first chapter. I love this series and even approaching 200 chapters the pilot holds up so well. Hooray for the Yu-Ha revival!!
