This was a pretty conventional story, all told. Very similar to other stories in the genre, the theme reminds me greatly of The Devil's Logic by Junji Ito. And every time—every single time!—I read one of these stories, where the horror is "oooh memetic information makes you kill yourself"? Every time I just think "this is a depowered version of Monty Python's Funniest Joke in the World." I can't take it seriously. But I also know that my entire MO is taking horror manga seriously, so... yet another story where the theme is "think reality sucks and you've found a path out? Think again, bozo."
