I guess, but it doesn't really change the fact that most Rom Com premises are stupid if you think about them rationally. Also, whether the characters are together or not is pretty much irrelevant to Rom Coms due to how massive it is, especially in manga where it's (X character gets into wacky hijinks involving love with Y character)

True, but it's a common trope for character's to just not talk about things, which leads to even more wacky shit/misunderstandings. Alot of Rom Coms can be solved by talking things out and clearing misunderstandings, but it wouldn't be as fun if they did that.
Here, Maybe She's insecure about her time being an adventurer and thinks her husband will look at her different, Maybe she just wants a normal life and wants to be percived as a normal person. Either way, this is a "turn your brain off and have fun" manga. It's not trying to be thought provoking. It's stupid and goofy. It's not taking itself seriously, which is line with this authors work. If I wanted something more serious, I'd probably read something that doesn't have milf tities in the thumbnail.
