So, 3 chapters in, and so far...
Things that have been decided for Marsha:
Not canceling her engagement with her cheating fiance.
Walking around with said fiance whom she does not want to interact with.
Requirement to get married to continue her job.
Going on a pretend date with a coworker she seems mostly indifferent towards.
Having her junior dress her up in a fancier dress and makeup.
Things Marsha has been allowed to decide for herself:
Postponing the actual marriage indefinitely.
Going to a bakery she frequents.
I've seen some Shoujo series rob their female main characters of their autonomy, but holy shit, this just gets more disgusting. For someone who claimed she wasn't going to be a toy for someone to play with, she sure is letting everyone play with her life. How is this series "for women" when nearly every aspect of the main character's life is decided for her on the whim of people around her? This is a legitimate question; can someone please explain it to me?
