Yes, actually. Most people here seem to have a scale that consists of the numbers 5 and 10, with a zero for total shit. Do you like it? 10. Do you dislike it? 5. Do you hate it? 0.

I don't even put that much effort into it. Either I like it or I don't. I only give 10's or 0's. I don't see a problem with it either. How the hell am I supposed to split hairs and figure out the difference between a 3 or a 4 and a 6 or a 7?

Don't really care one way or the other for the MC. Just want to see the sisters learn their lessons and hopefully grow as people.

Lmao. This manga is so over the top with the tropes that it makes me laugh.

  • Morally perfect, completely harmless and ridiculously talented shota-bait of an MC - check
  • Antagonists who irrationally hate and look down on said MC despite him carrying their entire livelihood on his back - check
  • Drop dead gorgeous (and busty) women who swoon and gush at MC doing the most mundane things - check
  • Every other male figure is either non-existent, bad or completely invisible to the female characters - check
  • Excessive use of the word cute, beauty, goddess, idol, model and over the top/cringy praise of the women by the masses for simply existing - check
  • Tagged harem because the world and female attention revolves around MC yet he actively avoids intimate and affectionate moments with the women so nothing is resolved - check

Yeah, this is going in the slop pile lmao.

For fuck's sake... Japan, bruh, give us an absolute golden spined, slightly edgelord MC that talks shit back and doesn't ignore or forgive the abuse. No, Arifureta doesn't count, that one is Isekai Harem, I want one in a similar manner to this but he knows his worth and fucks people up. Chinese and Koreans do this all the time, Japan, what's wrong with you?

yes, exactly! it’s like a kids movie with the main cast consisting entirely of Mary sue type characters and having cartoon style villains. A character without flaws is not a character, there’s no need to highlight their flaws but if they do everything perfectly at least balance it out a bit.
that said there are a couple, very few rare manga that because there is a human side to the character its acceptable that there are few flaws. But in this one they don’t seem human man.

yeah I just cant care for this MC, I know is my bias against femenine looking, shota-ish, femboy characters, but that is enough for me to drop this, im not gonna, im keeping it in my list to see the downfall of the family, because that is always fun.

By using some critical thinking. If you’re incapable of doing that then you really need to work on yourself. That’s like something children can do. Kids can tell what they like and how much they like it. Again, if you can’t do even that much then you’ve got some serious issues.

Very generic, extremely mid 'exiled protagonist' story.
The vast majority of the time is spent going on harem slop adventures, constantly picking up new girls instead of developing the ones already there, and once every 7 chapters it returns to the ex-family and blasts through the downfall of one of the sisters.
Not satisfying at all.

. . . .
just how many wish-fulfillment tropes does the author want to insert?

I can never understand how certain manga get such high ratings. I usually use ratings to get an idea on how good of a read something would be. Ratings don't mean anything now because any generic slop can get a high one. How did this even make staff recommendations?

MC gets kicked from his family for no compelling reason other than being a man. He somehow managed all his 7 sisters' careers, which I find to be literally impossible. All his sisters are also idiots because they equate him doing his managerial work as him limiting their careers.

Him being kicked from his family had no effect on the has doesn't even get to struggle.

1st main heroin's family helps him get into a new school even paying his bills. Why? Simply because what happened to him was sad. The only redeeming thing about this is her, and it's because I have a soft spot for tsunderes.

Of course, there's an ice queen, because what manga does not need an ice queen. And of course, MC does the most normal thing and the ice queen instantly falls for him. I can already see where her story goes. She's probably shy or misunderstood and actually wants friends. In a school of hundreds of kids, the newcomer is the only normal person that was nice to her and made her talk.

Now let me guess his sister's career will start going downhill. His mother will be in denial, saying he is still not needed. Until she finally gives in and tries to get him back... bla bla bla...

No strong plot points or anything, just your usual self-insert MC with all the overused clichés. The art is nice. I'll give it that.

I've always loved reading romances, but now it's like all these Japanese romance authors share a single brain cell. The high rating is not warranted at all. It's a 5 or 6 at best.
It's best not to gauge how good the series is with the ratings, especially on romances. A lot of people tend to straight up rate 10* mindlessly when they see cute anime girls.
As a general rule of thumb whenever a story has some stupid trope (ie. harem) you always subtract the rating by 1-3. Then if the story has serious themes you add 1-2, bcs for some reason a lot of romance readers cant stomach serious storylines.

I've read romances with interesting stories but had serious themes and ok art so it only had a 7* rating. And i've read stories that are just so utterly garbage it's impossible to get immersed into getting almost 9* (anta no osananajimi for example).
