Spoiler from the novel, just to answer some trivial thing
Yes, he does find a part time job to keep his rent and all. He just don't want to work permanently in entertainment for awhile (I said that because of course our dear Atsumu need to be involved in entertainment to show his super ability).

He's working healthily as a bartender and sometime waitress on a nice, idlic cafe that is manned by his childhood friend. No overworking, no pressure.
Please tell me where you read the novel i can’t find it anywhere

i mean you could just accept the job and still having a normal live ? it's not like they force you to do all the work like your previous family does ? do it for the money.
he wasn't asked to do anything but makeup initially.
He opted to insert himself in all the other workers' roles and give them pointers. They didn't ask him for help, he just did it out of habit.
He's so used to being a one-man company seven-times over that I doubt he could help himself if he'd actually accepted Asuka & the Prez's offer.

And I'd argue more importantly - he'd just gotten out of show business. He left the school he was at where Asuka's mom was headmistress because he felt he couldn't go there since he was quitting the industry, and he'd resolved to just have a normal life as a teenager because he'd never even gotten to be a kid, being worked like a slave by his family all his life. Plus, they'd told him all his life he was bad at his job. Clearly, that's not the case, but he has no self esteem or sense of self-worth; he'd be torturing himself going right back into it, at any capacity.

It makes perfect sense he'd turn down this offer - even if it wasn't exploitative and abusive like his old gig, it's still too close to that bad time in his life. He's arguably better off just going to school, getting a job at a convenience store or something, and living out his life as an ordinary kid for at least a little bit.

I'm all for the focus on rizzing Asuka up but I personally would like a smidgen more focus on his former familys spiral into implosion as they realize how badly they've fucked up. Or maybe I'm just particularly bloodthirsty today.

I got curious about what happens after this chapter, so I read the original WN or LN or whatever.

Immediately after Asuka, the story introduces Atsumu's childhood friend who used to be a tomboy, and then afterwards introduces Suzuka Takarazuka, popular lead actress of the Takarazuka Revue Theatre Group, who asks Atsumu out on a date to help her give reference materials for acting like a girl, since Suzuka only does male roles since she's the top star of the Takarazuka Revue.

Yes, they did the "John (Game Name) from (Game Name)" thing for the 4th character introduced.

Hang on, did I just skim over Atsumu's childhood friend and talk more about Suzuka? That I didn't even mention her name here? Yes, I did!

Suzuka is introduced one chapter after we are introduced to Atsumu's childhood friend, and already she's going on a date with him and "finding her girly side" around him. I have never seen a childhood friend character lose the race this fast before.

Screw you, blunt bangs flips her off. You still don't apologize even after seeing how awesome he is? Of course he doesn't wanna work at a place with a jerk like her and a lying twin tails who thinks she's all that.
