It seems to be going differently than how the original web novel went, unless I'm unaware of any new reboots of it. He's already creating a new urban legend not even 5 chapters in. Well, I guess its pretty standard for Manhua adaptations to have lesser details than their novel counterparts...

Anyway I really like it, thanks for the TL! I hope china doesn't axe this series again.
