I think he's saying he doesnt care if he himself is a freak with ulterior motives. So long as he's with Yaharu lol guy is just so obsessed with him

This will be addressed directly in the next chapter. I don't think most english readers would be able to pick up on it unless they had japanese knowledge.

EDIT: To give a more immediately useful answer, "that" is Yaharu's observation of his motivations. The important part which can still be inferred from the translation is that "I'd be fine with that" is not a confirmation or denial.
