I agree with him deciding to teach her dark magic eventually, the sooner the better, she need to know or at least acknowledge that she has the aptitude for dark magic, it's in her blood, whether he teach her or not she will find out eventually, accidentally or intentionally, plus he's the best one for that role, can't just stall it out and let some suspicious stranger come to her to teach dark magic now can we?

Oh yeah the teacher even didn't really say about her dark magic even if the crystal has shown so. She also wished that Lily isn't taught dark magic right away because it'll be a bad mark for her even if she's young.
