We're roughly 5 (split) chapters behind behind the raws which are at ch 14.2. Both of the ch 13 releases were put out in the first week of December, and the two ch 14 releases were in the first week of January.

Because in the novel MC thought that she's a single girl living quite comfortably in a hell hole which is suspicious af and didn't want to get too close to her, and this is missing entirely in the manga.

She never has a chance to begin with.
