Author said that part 17 will be the final chapter but I cant find it anywhere? Says it was supposed to release December of last year (2023) now.

Yeah i did, it adds some extra pages during the time MC takes out shiro in an earlier chapter which are interesting (id add more on this but not home and haven't read it in a while).

Final Chapter summary

As for the ending unfortunately the BAD END doujin is canon. MC has to leave and he tells Shiro to not open the door for anybody. Later on somebody rings the door and she see's its MC's father through the peephole so she opens the door and it seems he hired some guys to grab her and place her inside a cardboard box. They drive somewhere really far and toss her out in the woods. She is very scared and confused since its dark inside and then someone opens and frees her. She thinks its MC thats come to rescue her but its the Brothel guy and he takes her in to his car where she's surrounded by other beast girls comforting her while she is crying terrified. Very sad ending and hopefully the author continues the storyline because this is way too sad.

Sadly, If I'm not mistaken this kinda lines up with 'Usagi to Kainushi-san - Prelude' which I believe is the initial vesion the author did. In that it clearly shows the R18 bad end.

Also, I'm sure I've seen R18 artwork of two rabbit girls but I can't seem to find it anymore. Not sure how that fits with the story but maybe it's in the doujin?
