Oh man here we go again. I have to say that I already like it better than the dorama adaptation even though it's been only one chapter. In the adaptation it all looked so cartoonish and unrealistic.

Eh, it's his lack of basic personal skills of interacting with women, which isn't so rare for a Japanese salaryman.
Or more like, if you just listen instead of going on and on and on in your head about how meaningless all they say is, you can basically be silent most of the time. Also, men communicate in turns, women communicate by constantly speaking out of turn and switching subjects. But the prevailing majority of men know nothing of basic sexology and the differences between male and female brains, so they, as usual, wait for them to shut up which would mark their turn to speak, but it never happens. And they get frustrated. And the women then say that they're no fun since they don't know much about male brains too.
Boy, if only you'd knew just how far in life you can go by just going through a few basic books about male and female psychological differences. Books from 00s and 90s of course. Nowadays it's illegal to acknowledge that men and women are different, kek. Even something fairly simple as
Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps by Allan Pease would already give you a great advantage in life. It surely gave me back when I was a teen. Btw, his another, more popular book
(The Definitive Book of) Body Language is an absolute classic.
Paying for them is a little bit more complex, as its corporate workings. My Chinese boss pays for our team's outings too, but then again, it happens one in a few months.
