Good memory. People kinda look at this in a wrong way/misunderstand the manga + forget earlier stuff (e.g. ch 4). She isn't being saved. She doesn't "need saving". She would've cheated one way or another. The ghost is no saint.

The ghost clearly lied to her this chapter. The husband fucked up and could've known better but he 100% would've been the one next to her in chapter 7- the ghost did him and their relationship dirty.
This chapter is the result of the ghost actively working her brain and her falling for it.

Which in turn is kinda funny-sad but also rad af (for a lack of better wording?) since it is exactly what the ghost is doing to her but now to some readers- almost brainwashing them to such an extent that some pretty questionable stuff is being romanticized.

This is so messy. Gou would obviously have seen his reaction to the room's state after saying "How's dinner?" + him running for the door, so there's definite deception by omission going on.
Everybody is scum here to a degree but that's what makes it fun and interesting to read~ LOL

I really enjoy how it has all the trappings of a typical trashy daytime drama in an insane vehicle. And it's ItaParu so I feel unambiguous interpreting intent towards overall social commentary into the narrative as well.
