This feels a little… icky. No responsible adult, especially a teacher, would go such lengths for a runaway middle schooler. The developments feel a bit ”convenient” to put the teacher in a positive light (though it‘s still feels extremely wrong). Hopefully the next few chapters give some realistic development to their relationship.

After reading chapter 3 I don’t know if it’s a prequel anymore
