I think Karl is actually playing the long game there. Burning for a minute is better than saving that time and having to burn for more time later. Especially when the fatso has a clear advantage in counting the seconds.

But I might be giving him too much credit.

Even now I wonder why exactly Usogui picked up Kaji. This arc is pretty good, because it reminds us that despite Kaji going through so much, he still hasn't completely matured; he's still relying on others to get him through his problems and is unable to dominate impromptu.

Lithe pic reminds me that I miss Minowa. For some reason I think he was my favorite character introduced so far.

Why do these morons always play the game the opponent has already played dozens of times already?
I mean it's fair... they first played Kaji's game now the opponents.
Baku trust in his abilities and kaji is always in a disadvantage when selecting the game

Also he still hasn't realized that most of these freaks aren't real gamblers.

They don't actually rely on luck or skill to win they just rig up game so it's stupid easy from their POV and talk a lot of smack.
