I love how Souichi casually revealed that he knew both the certain-win strategy and the fact that Kidou was cheating like it was an obvious thing.

Of course he knew. What I find more impressive is not only that he acted like an idiot, but that 1) he planned all of this from way back, since he only got a chance near the start to do that trick with the 72 creamer, and that 2) he was actually able to figure out the numbers of the creamers being used by analyzing the ones that weren't being used. It sounds simple but I think that's harder than they make it seem. So not only did he also know every creamer being used, but he predicted how the game would go and that Kidou would try to cheat (because he was greedy and wouldn't take the certain win in front of him) and set up a trap that would let him win instead. Fucking Hachina. "What's filthy is the way you eat".

@299792458 Oh yeah, I know what you cited are more impressive examples of Hachina's intelligence, but I love the way he just fucks around and trolls his opponents. The way he predicts Kidou's behavior and offers him a victory knowing that his nature wouldn't take it is almost like he's a god.
If you were amazed by Hachina this chapter, next chapter is gonna blow your mind since it explains Hachina's plot.
