Another chapter release?! Team Duwang, you're too good for us.

That's the leader of Ideal, right? I wonder at which point Hachina (as Leader, I imagine) had spoke to him. As for the unidentified corpse, I sure hope it's not Gakuto...

Damn, hopefully the Jap that died isn't who I'm thinking.

Thanks for the Chapter

Next batch is starting right away, our translators are on fire right now! I don't know how long we'll be able to keep this pace, but I'll keep everyone posted. For now, you can expect this batch to go up to around 315~317.

What the actual fuck. Team Duwang?!!!??!? I love you.

Hah! Told you the guy who picked up Voja was the leader of Ideal, he probably recognizes his voice from back when he called the Leader after Sadakuni's match. Another thing I noticed from going back to the Sadakuni gamble was that Karl was actually working for Ideal with the missiles (he said "if the missiles don't get launched, /he/ will kill me"), which also explains why Ideal's leader (presumably) was able to get him to tell him the account number password after the Tower arc, and why he tried to kill him; because remember that Baku had deduced that the leader had leveraged stocks in order to make a huge profit after the missiles hit a certain building nearby; his deduction turned out to be right, but just applied to the wrong person, Leader had his own gamble where he just wanted either the missiles or the rockets to be launched in the first place, in order to smoothly be able to form ACIA (which makes me wonder if Karl was also working for Leader, which I doubt because Kyara was with Karl and he had abandoned Kakerou and was thus being chased by them; so I wonder how Leader even got the information about the rockets, but I think it was probably Yokoi - who was also present at that meeting with the prosecutor general back then - because he obviously knows Karl as we saw before this arc started); Ideal's leader (presumably) then ended up calling Leader to make him get the missiles launched, which he refused, which is why he recognizes Hachina's voice now.

I'm not 100% sure if that's Yokoi though back then, since it was 200+ chapters ago and the art changed so much, but it seems very very probable to me, given how Yokoi also said he was a reporter when interviewing the workers at the shipyard before finding Gallop, and at the meeting with the prosecutor general he was shown to be from a newspaper organization.

A bit crazy how all these coincidences tie in so neatly with one another. All the events from the Sadakuni arc, Leader coming into contact with Ideal, Karl being friends with one of the four people that met with Leader and the prosecutor general, Hachina coincidentally meeting Gakuto again, then Yokoi getting involved, and everything happens on a ship that is controlled by someone whose daughter is fairly close to Ideal's leader... Exciting.

PS: Kinda crazy how nonchalant Leader is about killing people, I mean we saw it before, but this time he just meddled with the ship and caused the deaths of dozens of people, and he doesn't bat an eye. Baku kills too, but only as a result of gambles, and usually he tries not to, even, like in the Labyrinth gamble.
PPS: Another thing that confirms this is Ideal's leader is that back when Ideal was introduced, and in the Tower arc where Ranko was walking around with the serial killer guy, they said that the name comes from the having an Ideal form, like a diamond. This ties in to how Ideal's leader freaked out about Lacy's wife wearing diamonds and killed her, then giving a colombian necktie to Lacy (possibly just an excuse to kill her because of what she did to Voja, but eh). I hope this will be my last edit, lmao.

Thats IDEAL leader alright, so cool he is starting to move. That flashback was merciless. Voja was really fucked up. Cutest daughter.

Thank you DUWANG, this was the best surprise today!

Yeah, Yokoi's first appearance was in Sadakuni's match.
Same pose, different art style.

@a2j04vm0 Ah yeah, I thought that those diamonds were probably the ones from his wife, but forgot to mention it. Didn't notice that the letters might be connected too, though, didn't go back on it. Nice catch!

Its so sad that we never get an anime adaptation of all of this. If done well it would be fantastic.

Seeing those shots of Voja in the ocean crop up very once in a while has me concerned....again.

They're both pieces of Ideal, so if one comes back, the other will probably come back. If one can be confirmed dead, I would claim the other is dead as well.

Wow, I never would've expected Voja to have so much control over Lacy like that. And seeing as how the person on the phone was keeping in contact with her as opposed to Lacy, I think it's fair to say she really was the person basically pulling the strings this whole time.

Also, that diamond analogy regarding Ideal's namesake truly was more literal than initially revealed. Props to whoever made that connection a number of chapters back.

Whew.

Something tells me that the unidentified corpse was Kidou, not Gakuto. Going with how Usogui character development goes, Gakuto wouldn't die unless if he had significant backstory attached. That said, it took me a while to realize that the crew saw "Voja," who was really just Hachina in disguise, and it was that same "Voja" that ordered the crew to not enter certain parts of the ship so Hachina could essentially sink the ship and its cargo.

@Ominous
I knew I wasn't being retarded when I saw similarities between Hachina and Voja's appearance, funny that it'd end up being used as a plot point later on

If the corpse is the guy with the eating disorder, then how did Oofuna escape? did the referee smuggled him on her bike? but why?

@Doomroar

Most likely Hachina, last chapter it was shown that Hachina was pretending to be Voja and overheard/saw where they put Oofuna after. And he was heading towards the bridge, where Lacy/Oofuna were.
Could also have been Oofuna himself too, there was a lifeboat shown a few chapters ago, so he could've escaped on his own.

@Lithe

I was thinking that maybe Voja could've survived, if Hachina didn't use up all the air in the welder. She could've relatively easily unhooked the wire and got air back and swam to safety. But it depends on how deep the stab wound she got was. Since the author brought back Lee (the guy who got his neck 180'd), perhaps it's possible.

Yokoi and Karl sharing information since way back then is interesting! Now that you mention it, Leader not only knew about the rockets, but he also knew that Kyara was with Karl. Back then, I took it for granted that the Leader knew that much, but no matter how powerful he is, it's strange to know about all of that, unless Karl himself was giving the info away.
