Over the course of the series, every character seems to have developed an underbite. I guess we're well past the peak of the art style the series had achieved around the tower arc

Seems the guesses about Lalo wanting to determine the location of the island using the stars was spot on. Additionally the fact that Robert has to be escorted by the developers means that this new referee will struggle to follow, since he can't exactly sneak onto the ship alongside Robert. I wonder if this will escalate Kakerou/Developer relations or if something else will be done.

It's interesting that every referee we've seen so far on the island appears to be on the stronger side as well. Speaking of referees, have we yet seen what happened to Kushinada (from ch. 175)? I think he got kidnapped by Ideal, so Lalo probably got some info out of him that could prove useful here.

I took a look at some raw pages and indeed tower arc or around it was the best in terms of artstyle... though I did saw some amazing pages there and there so its not as if thats over either.

I dont think Kyara is tricking Veronica, thats not his style.

@saxifraga It's because it's early, so Kakerou and the Developers haven't had the chance to establish a mutually beneficial relationship. He's using the fact that they're still "enemies", hence the title of the chapter.

2 chapters in a row of Kyara getting punked... he is not supposed to be the man that struggles, his violence was so called absolute.

Man this is killing my hype. I was awaiting to seeing him again, but maybe this is not a comeback, this could be the formal retirement of Kyara, after all the series has been going without him for a while, and he is not a referee anymore so he can't fight for the #0 spot, plus he already defeated the korean assassin even if he struggled to do it which was weird, but maybe Kyara is just all talk and attitude and he is not even that strong anymore, hell maybe that's why he is no longer a referee, and to make matters worse for him we have Marco now to cover the brawns of the team, so there's no plot armor for Kyara.

So this maybe it, if he can no longer be used, Madarame BK has been making some allusions to this and if that's all Kyara be of use for, then maybe we have to move on too.

Thankfully whatever is happening with Robert K, Lalo, and the developers is actually interesting,way more than seeing Kyara is this pitiful state.

@Doomroar I understand your point about Kyara's death flag rising, but... why do you think that he already defeated the korean guy ?
The last time we saw Jonglyo, he was casually throwing a truck at his target, and showed no sign of being injured. Personally, since he is Lalo's ally, I expect him to be on this island right now, kicking butts and waiting to kill Kyara.

Also, after a quick reread, I found something that might support your theory that our former #0 referee will die soon. Namely, this page : https://mangadex.org/chapter/567002/3
Seeing how the whole scene was full of clues and premonitions, Kyara's skull might have been a huge death flag.

No need to expect it, it's already been confirmed that all of Lalo's and Baku's allies have responded to the Ban request and are on the island.

The strength line has to do with what Kyara told Baku in the past about Baku only being useful cause he keeps winning.

About Baku and Kyara's relationship, Baku specifically thought to himself that Kyara wasn't on his side "So long as he was a referee", and then is implied to have acted on that. One thing of note, and I'm not sure how important it is, but Kyara doesn't show up in the first StL challenge. It seems odd that he wouldn't appear at all, regardless of whether he was working with Baku or not, given that he was No. 0 at the time. That or, by the time the StL challenge got issued, Kyara was already planning on leaving Kakerou.

On a different note, what kind of people in the real world know about OffProto? Kakerou seems to have known about it, or it could be a fact specific to Midara that he got out of some high profile person. It's a bit surprising that Lalo wasn't knowledgeable about OffProto from before the Ban, as the leader of Ideal, but he may just be masking it.
