Grrr I hate the fact that everything Leader said makes sense but Baku's opponents have always been wrong when they explain what they think he's trying to do.

@caitsith predicted this but I turned down the idea when I read it because I was wondering if this was Hal's plan all along, why didn't he just 'commit suicide' the previous round? He didn't need to wait until the next round. Unless his mindset is that he's sure that Baku won't be able to pull off a suicide because he'd drop the handkerchief immediately so why not waste the round to flex on everyone, dab on the audience a bit
Well, I'm guessing it'll be eventually explained since in page 15, Hal says he's glad that he was able to block Baku's failing check "this round only", whatever the implication is. Probably something to do with accumulating time first before committing suicide

Yakou is the perfect referee so I don't think 'yakou failing to properly revive someone' is a conclusion I'm fond of although very interesting. I mean, imagine the guilt he would bear for being the cause of a player death in a kakerou match. Too sad man..

Of all games so far, it seems like this game has the most imperfection by a referee oversight (the clock (probably) & yakou's hand), which makes this game thematically amazing by the way. Souichi can be perfect all he wants but Kakerou has been 'not perfect' since long ago.

Okay so in this case, Usogui can just drop the handkerchied right in the beginning aswell, that way leader wont die first. Next round same will happen, leader will drop it right away. In this case, in which no one can let the other die first, they could just get stuck in the loop, each round adding 1 second to each others time. Since Leader is closer to the 5 minute limit, with this wouldnt it mean Usogui is actually at an advantage right now?

What happens if the referee dies before the game is concluded? esp. in this case since this gae cant be played without a referee checking the "saved" time..

So if the one who dies first has an advantage now, why would both of them not just keep dropping at 0 seconds to prevent a failed check, and checking at 0 to prevent time accumulation beyond the 1 second?
There's gonna be some kind of twist away from this, you just know.

I think the basic problem is that the 3-death strategy can only work for so long before either of them accumulate enough time for it to be forced back into the 2-death strategy. They'd have to pinpiont the moment where dying second is better and that's where the mind-game is?

Either way, 2-deaths, 3-deaths, hell one 'death' was already absurd lol. Admittedly the reason I attribute to why I kinda stopped calculating for this game.
Leader probably acquiring echolocation is the other reason lol.

"The one who dies first will get the advantage". Hahahahahaha. Beautiful.
